Lupus Nephritis Prognosis

Patients who are diagnosed with Lupus Nephritis will be concerned about the prognosis, wondering how it develops. Generally speaking, several years ago, most patients with Lupus Nephritis could not get a good prognosis if not treated well and about 20% of them would develop into renal failure after 10 years due to the activity of lupus, which makes people desperate.
However, with the medical technology developing, some scholars point out that about 50% of patients with Lupus Nephritis die of the disease. To our surprise, the other 50% patients die from the untoward effects which are caused by treatment such as hormone. Especially in recent years, Lupus Nephritis can be diagnosed earlier, so treatment schedule can be made accordingly, which makes patients with Lupus Nephritis have a better prognosis. So patients with Lupus Nephritis should be confident.
In addition, experts in this field also point out that infection is also an important factor which leads to the death of patients. So preventing infection is also a critical factor which doctors should pay more attention to. Infection prevention has become an important means to control the condition.
From the above, we can get a conclusion that three factors lead to the prognosis, which are activity of lupus, hormone and infection. What measures shall we take? To treat it, we should not use hormone any more and we should choose another one, which we will mainly explain in detail in this passage.
Lupus Nephritis is an autoimmune disease, so we mainly use immunotherapy, which can be divided into six steps: immune diagnosis, immune clearance, immune inhibition, immune tolerance, immune adjustment and immune protection. In these steps, Chinese Medicine is applied, which avoid the side effects which hormones lead in western countries. After these steps, not only immune complex is cleared but also immunity increases, thus stopping the recurrence of Lupus Nephritis.
