Can Renal Failure Patients Eat Eggs

Eggs are food rich in nutrition such as protein and amino acid. Patients are always suggested to have eggs which are helpful for the recovery of the patients. However, as for those with kidney failure, they should have eggs selectively.
Firstly, kidney failure patients can have egg white, for it contains good-quality protein, which can supply nutrition for their recovery. Generally, one egg weighs 50g and contains 7g protein. The proportion of amino acid is suitable for the patients with renal failure. In addition, the use ratio is also high. So for patients with renal failure, eating an egg one day is good for their health.
Secondly, patients with kidney failure can not eat egg yellow for it contains rich phosphorus and cholesterol. When patients are in renal failure stage, the level of phosphorus will be high in most of time, so if they take in egg yellow, it will damage kidney further. On the other hand, cholesterol belongs to lipid, which will also increase the burden of the kidney.
